A Story Of Resilience And Community
What impact looks like
Today is Giving Tuesday, a global opportunity for us to stand together in unity and celebrate how organizations like Team Rubicon help families prepare, respond, and recover from disaster and crisis.
In 2021 you have enabled us to respond to the most urgent local needs, serve our most vulnerable and make an impact together in what has been a historically challenging year for Canadians. From COVID-19 crises in Northern Ontario, to the Lytton B.C. fires and the Fraser Valley floods, together we continue to answer the call and serve families in their time of need.
Although 2021 has reminded us that no community is impermeable to the effects of mother nature, this year’s challenges have also reminded us of what we’re capable of when we come together.
What drives our impact is the inspiring stories of service, humanitarianism, resilience, and hope that our volunteers, and donors like you, make possible.
Today we share the story of Lytton wildfire survivor, Amanda. From the ashes of the Lytton wildfire, hear about what happens when Team Rubicon’s veteran volunteers rally together with indigenous leaders to overcome disaster.

Thank you for fueling hope for families like Amanda’s.
Together we will keep rising to the challenge and accomplish more for those in need than ever before. On this special day, take a moment to donate and join us as we stand beside vulnerable communities, because no one should have to face disasters alone.
